Dr. Davidson received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from The Pennsylvania State University and his medical degree from The Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He completed two years of a General Surgery residency followed by a Diagnostic Radiology residency at The Cleveland Clinic. He then completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at The Cleveland Clinic. He then served as a staff interventional radiologist at The Cleveland Clinic for approximately 6 years. He currently serves as the Section Chief for the Department of Interventional Radiology for University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he has practiced for the past 10 years Dr. Davidson has also been responsible for training many successful interventional radiologists throughout the world. Dr. Davidson is very active within the Society of Interventional Radiology, serving on many committees, including the Standards of Practice committee. He is also an active member of the RSNA, ACR, and AMA. Dr. Davidson has received many awards, including being named to the Best Docs of America, and to the Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Davidson has been invited to lecture at meetings throughout the world, most recently throughout China. Dr. Davidson was selected as a Fellow in the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR) in 2018. This honor, achieved by fewer than 10 percent of SIR members, is bestowed to those who have demonstrated excellence in interventional radiology by virtue of research and published works, teaching, and leadership within the field, along with contributions and involvement within the SIR.
